Africa

It is said one goes to Africa for the animals but returns for the people. How true this was. We found most people to be very friendly and willing photography subjects. Several of the tribes we visited in Namibia and Zambia lived in very difficult circumstances. We traveled to South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia. It was important to spend time in Johannesburg to learn about Apartheid. A quick trip to Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River then onto Cape Town (with magnificent wineries nearby), into the bush in South Africa and on to Namibia.
